Here is an idea of what it means to take a hot air balloon flight.
The first thing you need to know is that you fly at dawn, so be aware that you will have to get up early, but don’t worry: it will be worth it.
The team will have provided a meeting point. If you are lucky, and weather conditions allow this, you will be able to depart from Florence. If not, you will still be able to fly over it by starting just outside the city center in order to have enough room for preparation. Remember that flying in a hot air balloon is a true art, almost a ritual, so it takes its time.
Once you reach your hot air balloon, your pilot will welcome you aboard and immediately make you feel comfortable. The ground is very close to your feet and you will not notice that you are gaining altitude as everything will happen gradually.
From this point on everything you see will be pure magic and you will remember and photograph it for a lifetime (as well as tell everyone about it as soon as you get home).
The final part of the trip, the landing, is not scary at all, as the pilots know exactly where and how to land. With two or three bounces you will be on the ground and can go back to seeing the world around you “full size.”
